What This is All About

So many times in life I want to make a purchase (big or small) and I say to myself...."I wish someone would just tell me which one is the best so I can buy that one." For me, it has happened the most with gadget-type purchases, but has even happened with purchases like toasters or clothes. I want to use this blog to help you on your purchasing journey. I figured that I have done some research already and am willing to do more, so why not lend you a helping hand. I also have LOTS of opinions, stories, interesting news articles, etc. that I would love to share with my readers. I hope you enjoy them. The Best Mainstream Heavy Metal Groups

In honor of Iron Maiden announcing their new tour, I thought I would list my top 10 founding fathers (groups) of heavy metal. I believe these are the most influential groups in music history. I am not including Ozzy because he is not a group and he was in Black Sabbath, but rest assured I believe he is probably the most influential individual in metal's history.

  1. Black Sabbath (The Best)
  2. Iron Maiden
  3. Metallica
  4. Judas Priest
  5. Motorhead
  6. Scorpions
  7. Megadeath
  8. Anthrax
  9. Accept
  10. Motley Crue (sorry about this one, but they really brought metal mainstream)
